Well girls, I've always thought that the best thing to do with good news is to simply pass it on...so I thought I would let you all know about my latest obsession, "North & South." No, I don't mean the cheesy Civil War movie, I'm talking about the BBC version of an Elizabeth Gaskell novel. All I can tell you is that if you liked the BBC mini-series "Pride and Prejudice" you are going to love "North & South." Why, you may ask? Simple, two words: Richard Armitage. Oh yes, make no mistake he is even darker, moodier and more handsome than Mr. Darcy. I won't bore you with my own personal pontifications on plot details, costumes or the dapper Mr. Armitage, but I will say that if you don't believe me visit Amazon.com and check out all the other 5 star ratings and glowing reviews. The End. P.S. In keeping with the England theme here, the above pic is one that Mike and I took this spring while visiting Cambridge University. We sat and had lunch on the wall outside campus before touring Trinity College (where Newton and Tennyson studied).
