Hello friends, welcome to 2007! I hope you all had a great 2006, and are looking forward to this next year with hope and happiness. What will you be doing? Where do you see yourself in a year? Are you planning any fun vacations? Will you be spending more time with family, or less? Going to lose some weight? How about de-junking that storage room, or finishing a basement? Planning to retire? Writing in a journal? Reading a good book? Spending less time in front of the television? Learning a new sport/craft? Let's hear all about your 2007 resolutions, and if you haven't made any then get going!

New Years resolutions, a time to improve or a time to fall flat? I guess the only way we can really fall flat is by doing nothing. The act of goal making itself pushes us a little bit. Even if we end up doing very little after that, we at least thought a minute about what we wanted to focus on for the next year. I would like to do more work on my house. I would also like to be a better husband. I would like to support Megan more and make sure she knows how much I love her. I would like to learn more as a father and work to bring my son up well. I would like to read more, especially in my scriptures but also in other books. I am looking forward to a new year of new days full of ever new possibilities.
I am excited for the new year because I am no longer pregnant and am ready to get back to getting in shape!! If you didnt read my blog, my goal for 2007 is to do a half marathon by sept 1st. I am excited to try to push myself and see what I can accomplish. I also want to become more spiritually fit by reading my scriptures more and actually try to understand what I read! I am planning on getting the conference talks on CD and listening to them in the car etc.
James and I are hopefully going to Florida in May (James is definitely going for work). I want to come along after his work conference and maybe go on a cruise! We shall see! Finances are always the question. I am definitely looking forward to 2007!
Heather keeps negleting to tell everybody that the marathon is our joint goal, I am also going to aim to complete in a traitlon in June. I also have made the resolution to attend the temple more and focus more on the gospel. I am also going to try and work less and be home more with the family. James
I was just about to blog some new years resolution's. I'll comment to you first.
Dan and I today have started not a diet - but a healthier lifestyle. And it is for my health, but also for Ben. We want to see him graduate, and become that famous whatever he is going to be, and be grandparents. But all in all this year will(hopefully) be a healthy happy year! We will be moving off this island!!! HOOO RRRAAAYY!! This year will hopefully be a year of finishing classes on our way to graduate, lose weight, become more active and less sedentary, say good bye to evil surgeries that scar my beautiful body, and get down to business with scripture reading, and attending the temple more. Oh and one more - more date nights for Dan and I!!!!
As you can see I have a lot of goals this year. We will see how they got. Love ya Meg! You are my true loyal blogger!
What! I totally was the first one to post something on this one and I came back to see everyone else's and it's not there! jipped!!! Maybe I posted it on myspace instead. haha oops!
Okay, now I have to remember what I said! To answer your questions, no my blog will not be going back up any time soon. I'm still really angry and mixing that with access to the internet is only a recepie for regret. haha. Maybe some day though.
And my best new years resolution is to take more bubble baths!
Love you Meg, thanks for thinking of me.
