Well, it's official. Our little boy is growing up! My how time flies, especially when you're having fun. Peter is the cutest, smartest and happiest baby ever (of course I am slightly bias on this subject). He is talking and laughing a lot these days. Cooing and gurgling are his favorite pastimes besides kicking, bouncing in his chair or sitting up to look around the room. He never cries unless he is hungry, tired or needs his diaper changed. He has the sweetest disposition and likes to be held by just about anyone. He can grab almost anything you put in front of him (especially mom's hair which is a big fascination) and from there it usually goes right into his mouth. Get out the sanitizer!

PK loves his light and sound gym. It plays a little Mozart tune, and when Mike and I hum or whistle it, he gets a big smile on his face (did I mention smart?). We are just waiting for the day when he pulls the ring right off the toy Saturn. He also likes his rubber ducky that squeaks, rattles and his baby books. I have started reading to him even though at times his attention span isn't very long. He seems to like the books with pictures of other babies best. He is quite the little kicker as well. The other night Mike shouted at me from the nursery to come and see what "our son" had just done. Peter had kicked two holes with his heels into the changing table pad! There is some debate amongst relatives over whether he will be a soccer, basketball or football player.

PK is getting fat and eating a lot; almost 8 ounces a feeding now. He is on his way to getting a triple chin just like his daddy had. He also likes splashing around in the bath (aka the kitchen sink). He just settles right into the warm water and thinks it's his own private hot tub. But the thing Peter is probably the best at is sleeping through the night. He is a champion sleeper! He usually goes to bed at night between 9:00-10:30PM and wakes up around 7:00-8:30AM. Mike and I realize just how spoiled rotten we are on this point, and trust me, we thank our lucky stars! We finally feel like we have some shred of our former life handed back to us. We have been able to actually have some husband/wife time again, and have even caught up on some movies thanks to DVD rentals. However, we wouldn't trade our little angel for anything in the world!

Too freakin' cute!

Little PK also likes his "let's kick g-pa in the face" and "rocket to the mooooooon!" game!

Oh my gosh he is a little angel! Is it me or did he grow up over night? His super kicking strength reminds me of our little Benjamin. A few weeks ago Ben was crawling/walking around the house. He crawled over to his high chair. He picked up the high chair off the ground and threw it across the kitchen!!! Dan and I just stared with our jaws dropped. Can anyone say Clark Kent? I am seriously thinking Ben has super hero strength!!!! Crazy huh? That is just crazy how PK kicked a hole!! Our little boys are gonna be tough little cookies when they grow up!
