For all my fellow bloggers, and then some: please read the following article and share your thoughts and opinions with me. I'd really like to know what you think!

My opinion is that I am not going to "wait until my child is of age" to see whether they want me to put pics of them up or not. I post pics to keep people updated about them and maybe I am being naive but I don't see anything wrong with that! I definitely think you need to be smart about it and not put naked pics, full names, addresses etc. but for the most part I think it is totally fine.

I've been careful not to include our last name anywhere on our blog, or where we live. And I keep our blog restricted from public domains, so random strangers can't come across it in a search. But I think posting pictures to keep others updated is great! It keeps us all closer together and more connected. Great discussion topic!

It's interesting that you brought up this topic. Until recently I have never really worried about keeping sites private. But as you know I have a relative in my family who has recently tried to find me(who I don't have or want any contact with). My main concern is Ben. I have made all of our sites private now. I don't have the healthy site public for everyone because I only want my friends to give and get advice on that. However, I am totally cool with you putting the link on your site. I just don't want certain people to view that site. No one though that you have to worry about. I'm sure that someone could click on your site from our family site and eventually find the healthy site. I just don't make it easy to find from my site specifically. I changed the family site name so it would nto be associated with hawaii. "ohana" And, I took the location off. I might just end up changing it again taking off our last name completely. We will see......
