better with practice

One of the things I've always wanted to learn was crocheting. This summer, with the help of Mike's grandma, mother, and sister, I've been learning how to do just that! As you can see from the progression of pictures, my potholders keep getting better and better. My next project will be crocheting scarves for the winter months ahead. I've also discovered that this is a relaxing project to do while watching TV, and keeps my hands busy. Object lesson: I've decided you're never too old to learn something new!
