Last Thursday was my dear friend Marie's birthday. She wanted to do something fun, so we took the kids up to the Salt Lake Art Center for lunch and free miniature golfing!
There were 18 holes of golf, each designed and constructed by a different artist. Some were cool, others unique, and some were downright wacky! My favorite hole was probably the large tree with spooky mechanical owls whose eyes glowed red.
Since this was Peter's first time mini golfing, he struggled a bit to learn the basics, as well as stay engaged and involved in the activity (he mostly wanted to run around and put the ball in the holes without trying to putt). However, I did request that we ride Trax to Salt Lake City, which was his favorite part of the day. Marie packed a lunch, and the golf was free, so we only ended up paying $4.50 for Trax fare. I definitely recommend going up to see this free exhibit, especially if you have young children who like to golf!

Happy birthday Marie!
