update

Hello! I know, I know, I've been absent from blogger for quite some time now, and I apologize. Thank you to everyone who checks my site regularly, I'm sorry there hasn't been anything for you to read or look at. Things have been more than a little hectic for the Holdaway's lately! We are in the process of re-financing our house, doing more home repairs, working in the yard and trying to keep up with our 7 month old.

PK now has 5 teeth and has been the crankiest little boy ever. He is wearing my patience thin these days with all his fussing and fretting and "hold me all the time" attitude. He is getting better at rolling over and turning himself, but no crawling yet. We have been giving him a variety of new things to eat, but mostly he is still eating milk and rice cereal. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes we tried feeding him the other day ended up all over his bib and the highchair. Grrrrrr.

This last weekend was pretty busy. We had a reunion, birthdays and finally Mike and I were put in charge of creating the 1st annual b-day quiz for James. It was a lot of work, but so much fun! I think everyone who came enjoyed it, and James and Marie were in heaven with all the British questions. I just finished reading an excellent book, "Beauty" by Robin McKinley. It's a re-telling of the story of Beauty and the Beast. I read it some years ago, but obviously forgot most of it. I went on a no TV strike last week, so now the TV has lost quite a bit of interest for me. I did however tune in long enough to see the Rosie/Elizabeth feud on the View, but that is about it. Now that the weather has been so nice I am trying to stay off the computer and TV and get outside more. I hope all of you are doing well! That's all for now... Love, Meg.
