What is it about 100+ degree weather that makes me want to listen to Christmas music? I am certainly not ready for snow, heavy winter coats, or flu season...but something inside me is itching to decorate a tree, bake some gingerbread and sing "Jingle Bells".
*Gisele MacKenzie is an old favorite of mine. My grandparents used to play her Christmas record for me when I was little. Whenever I hear her distinct and beautiful voice, I get a rush of memories. (Gisele also does some great French renditions of popular Christmas carols). If you're lucky enough I just might sing, "Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer" in French for you!
Does anyone else celebrate Christmas in July?

Funny that you would ask this question because tonight for a Humanitarian Project we are donating to a Somali family that are living in Utah and have 6 kids and make hardly anything. So we are donating diapers, clothes, toys, etc. and calling it Christmas in July. We are bringing all said items to the church and having a wrapping party. They will be playing Christmas music and have Christmas cookies. Fun huh? But back to the real question, YES, I am a Christmas nut and like to keep it going all year.
