back update
A lot of my dear friends out there in blogger-land have been asking about my back lately (probably because I've been doing so much whining about it), so I wanted to update everyone! After enduring copious amounts of pain, intermixed with stints of heavy drugs, drowsiness, and fatigue, I finally went in for my "procedure" last Friday. Mike drove me to the community hospital in Orem where I got to put on one of those sexy hospital gowns, and was given an IV of some lovely sedative. They wheeled me into an surgery room where I got to lay on my stomach while my backside was poked and prodded, shot-up with local anesthetic, and then injected with iodine. The doctor then proceeded to take a series of x-rays while inserting the cortisone injection into my spine. It wasn't pleasant, but I figure if I can handle an epidural, I can do just about anything, right? The best part of it all? Lots of pampering, special attention, and today I am almost 100% back to my old self again! No more pain killers, limping around, or groaning like an old lady. Yeah! Now if I can only get myself back on that treadmill...

oh good. I was wondering what was going on with you and that. I'm glad you feel alot better. Yeah, once you've had a baby, pain is all relative... and so is privacy for that matter.
Thanks for the comment. Mike....he's such a nice guy. I would have been all over that little girl like white on rice! "You're gonna pay for that!... And your little dog too!" haha, just kidding. I thought that was a great example though and I am proud of you. It's kinda funny when you have a chance to stop and realize that in the long run, a lot of things just don't matter that much. I definetly need to do that whole take a 10 minute walk thing to cool off most of the time though.
And tredmill? no no no. Kickboxing. "Kickboxing Sir? It's the sport of the future?"
I freaken love that movie.
love ya

I was wondering how you were doing! I'm glad that you're feeling better! Thanks for commenting on my blog, too- funny how those can just brighten your day :)
annoying, I just wrote a comment and it erased it! Anyway, I just am happy that your back is finally feeling better. I have decided that we are definitely getting a legacy center membership so what do you say to hitting those treadmills together? No pressure, it will just motivate me to actually go in, sign up, and get my booty moving again!
