wonderful, wild, wily, wierd, whimsical words!

Because I like to give credit, where credit is due, I must say that this art project was inspired by two people: Miss Emily Cox, and Miss Marie Burt (for creative words and butcher-paper artwork, respectively). To you dear ladies, I simply say: Thank You. I've been dreaming up ways to have fun around the house, and this project came to me one rainy afternoon. It's soon to be followed by other butcher-paper creations, but for now it's simply a hodgepodge of some of our favorite words. Words that make you glad to be alive, words that tickle your tongue, and words that allow you to dream, imagine, laugh and yes, even words that remind us of bodily functions performed on toilets (Gary Whitehead!). If you haven't stopped by my house to write on my wall, please feel free to leave your favorite words in the comments section, and I will add them to my growing creation...

Cute Idea!!

I have to say that Disneyland and Summer Vacation sounded like favorite words to me right now..

Half of the words I had never even heard of. I guess I'm too uneducated for you!!

And UM, who's favorite word was Hillary??????

Such a a fun idea. It reminds me of when I was roomies as a single lady. We always use to have fun stuff like that on our walls. Here's to always staying young!

Ann...I have no idea who put "Hillary" on there, but if I had to guess it would probably be the same person who wrote "Moist" "Poop" and "Nugget". Three of my most-hated words ever!!! In case you're wondering, his name is Gary Whitehead (aka my evil brother-in-law).

I think this is a great fun idea. You've inspired me to put up another poster . . . but I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet (maybe "Favorite things about spring" or "Free activities to enjoy"?)

Hmmmmm I thought Twilight was coming to Theatres in 09'? If it's Christmas then all the more reason to be excited about movies this year?!?! I seriously can't wait for the movie. I haven't been this excited over a book series since Harry Potter or Anne of Green Gables. PS Did you know that KPBS has been playing Anne of Avonlea movies this week?

I love it! My favorite words are the ones that Aaron and Lili mispronounce:
Paka-sikle= popcicle
I'm ga-noring you= I'm ignoring you

Regular words I love = nap, summer and sea

What was the word that I wanted you to put on there that we were laughing about forever?! I can't remember. I am reading Twilight in honor of Thursday so it can be fresh in my memory!

Ahhhh...word walls. Thanks for the nod at the begining of your post. :) Seeing my name in print on Megan Holdaway's blog is always cause for rejoicing! :)
