welcome to the neighborhood!

Most of you know that my sister-in-law Alli has been living with us for a little more than a year now while she looks for a home of her own. Well, I'm happy to report that she is officially under contract in a nice rambler just two blocks from Mike and I! We finally found something that would work for her and the in-laws (we needed something with a mother-in-law apartment), and we found this great deal just a little ways down the road. It is in our stake boundaries, so now I have somewhere to run when I need to borrow a cup of sugar. Or a babysitter for PK.

Here are some pictures (mostly for my Holdaway relatives) to give you an idea of how it looks:
One sweet little home, just waiting for it's new owners to move in.
Phil: notice the small tree in the corner of the yard?
A view of the living room and upstairs entry.
Peter can't wait to come and swim in grandpa/grandma's new master bathtub.
I even got him to smile and wave for the camera!
Upstairs kitchen, complete with built-in dishwasher. Hooray mom!
Move over Betty Crocker, this is one large downstairs kitchen!
Scrapbooking night anyone?
Downstairs master bedroom with built-in desk.
A view of the unfinished backyard and large cement patio.
Basketball hoop for grandkids included.
Trumpet Vine or Campsis Radicans.
They make a great privacy screen for fences and yards.
Sunset at the new Holdaway Home.
We can't wait until you're moved and settled safely in Utah!

I love the house!! And how exciting that it's so close. How lucky is Peter that he'll have some grandparents (and an aunt) living so close. :D
