camera update

Mr. Holdaway and I will be checking the Friday internet sales for a new camera! I can hardly wait to be able to post pictures, and catch up on all the blogs I have wanted to do for the last month or so. Any suggestions or deals you hear on digital camera's please let us know! We apologize for the recent lack of blog entries, and ask that you be patient with us for just a little longer...

Sincerely, Miss Megan.

Miss Megan,

Good luck with that. Cameras are just as hard to shop for as a good pair of jeans.

I've had a kodak (which I HATED) and now I have a Cannon (which I really, really like-most of the time). I'll let you know if I hear of anything.

Chad thinks Canon really are the best... So if you see a good deal on one, I would buy it.

I have a Thank YOU card coming in the snail mail, but I can say a big THANKS to you for the gifts I havent opened, and for burning those for me! YOU rock, and I am going to listen to them the next couple of days as the christmas decorations go up!

I hope we see you saturday at my Dad's 60th dance party!

Megan,

I really like my Cannon. Stay with the name brand cameras because they deliver in quality. Sad to say, but by experience, it is true.

So, you want to know the places I have traveled. I do not have quite the travel log like Katie, but I have been to almost all states in the US except for a minor few in the middle. I have been to Greece, Rome, hawaii, the carrabean(sp?) and Mexico. I have my eyes set on London and Paris next. I use to love to travel, but now I am a home body. Although, I would happily go anywhere with my husband.

Good luck camera shopping! -Suzanne

DEFINITELY go for Canon. They are top quality with their point-and-shoot cameras as well as their SLR's. And the prices are still competitive with other brands of high quality. Trust me, it's so worth it. Quick tip- it's better if a camera takes four AA batteries instead of just two, because the batteries will last much longer.
Good luck!

I have a Cannon Powershot that we got last year for Christmas. I've been really happy with it. I still haven't figured out all the settings, but one of these days I'm just going to ahve to get out my manual and start playing. I would sometime like a nicer SLR, but I'm happy with the size of the powershot....it takes good pictures, but still fits in my purse and isn't super heavy.
Happy shopping! I'm looking forward to new posts with lots of pictures.
