Australia is currently taking international applications for what they call the "best job in the world". Hamilton Island is apparently in need of a caretaker. The lucky winner will be flown free to Australia, and be expected to sun, swim, relax, and perform "light" duties for 6 months on the island. By now, you're probably asking yourself, there must be a catch! Well, there is. You are expected to maintain a weekly blog about your adventures on the island to a global audience. Sounds like a rough life! Applications are being accepted until February 22, 2009, so hurry up and put your resume together ladies. Last one to the tropical paradise is a rotten egg...

Nate told me about this a while back, and I've been daydreaming about it ever since! I so want to go to Australia!
MEGAN!!! Oh, honey! If I could give you a hug, it would be a huge grizzly bear hug. Wait
Ggrrrr((((Megan))))Grrrr!
I can say that motherhood has been a challenge for me too! My daughter has called me a witch, she hates me, and she wants to run away. Every time, it cuts to my heart. I think it is their age. Dad is always the super hero because he is away at work and is not around all the time. I also know that you and I are not alone. Something for thought. I went to a Sheri Dew fireside about a week ago and she was talking about motherhood. She said that no person has greater influence on a man than his wife. AND no person has greater influence on children than their mother. So guess who is the primary target for Satan. MOTHERS and WOMEN and WIVES!! Those feelings of self doubt is just the adversary trying to tear you down for your greatest role yet and may I add your most important. You are a wonderful woman, wife and mother. You have great worth. You are GREAT and NOBLE!! I know this because I can see it in your eyes and you glow!! You glow, Miss Megan! If Satan can get to you then he affects countless numbers of people. So, with that thought, you give that son of yours a great big hug, take a breath, maybe say a prayer and remember this thought- we are given the trials in our life to make us stronger, to learn and to become more like God. And when we get there, it will have been all worth it! I love you Megan! -suzanne
First of all, thanks for making me want to go back to the tropics. I want to be made at you, but I just can't. Also, thanks for the comments on my blog and the book is coming along quite nicely. I'm rather smitten with my main character--though, don't get the wrong idea, he's no Edward. I am on the downhill slide, having just hit my TURNING POINT. It's tedious and I don't get to write as much as I would like to, but all in all, I'm pleased with it. Let the editing begin. Well, soon anyway. :)
