I strapped Peter into his stroller today, and took him down to the local elementary school to vote in the primaries. He was very good the entire time, and kept everyone in the line entertained with his rugged good looks, and crazy baby babble. The experience only took 15 minutes or so, and I felt great afterwards (especially considering this may be the only time my vote will count in this state). For those who don't know, I am a registered Democrat, so most of the time my vote basically drowns in a sea of Republican candidates. I know some of you are curious as to who I voted for, so I'll just state that after much investigating, book reading, soul-searching and on-line research, I voted for Barack Obama. (If anyone is interested in my reasons for doing so, shoot me an e-mail and I'll be happy to elaborate). I hope everyone out there takes a minute to vote today. I think it's very important, not to mention our duty as citizens of the best nation in the world. Feel free to share the candidate you like best, or the person you voted for today.

Yeah! I'm glad you voted!! I dragged the kids down with me too. Luckily, no lines. You know I voted for Mitt. It may be my last time to vote this year too, I hope not. If Romney doesn't make it, I would vote for Obama over McCain and Hilary. :(
Yeah!!! I voted for Obama as well. Each time I try VERY hard not to out think myself because I know that Don's vote will always cancel mine out. I am not an official Democrat, but might as well be seeings as I keep voting that way.
ANYTIME you need a sitter for Peter I'd LOVE to help. How did the Dr. appt go today?

I also voted for Obama. :D And I am currently working on my blog about going to hear Michelle Obama speak on Monday (yes, I took the kids, and they were absolutely wonderful!). I was thrilled to have a chance to actually make a difference in a Utah election. May it happen more often.
Hello friend - E-mail me how you are doing. I won't have phone until the 15th. We drove in last night. I listened intently to the radio and NPR for most of the drive while Dan and Ben slept. My views currently on politics -
I would prefer that Mitt wins the republican vote. I think he could really turn the economy around. I do not want Mcain to win. I don't trust him and I don't think anything would change if he was prez. I am a registered independant and we were on the road so I didn't vote. I am registered with state of Cali anyhoo. If Romney doesn't get the rep spot, I will vote for Hillary. I have really changed my opinion on her in past weeks. Who knows? Bottom line - They're all politicians, so all are hard to tell when one is telling the truth or not. But those are my feelings right now. I really look forward to seeing what happens with the next few days of voting!
